About Us
Our History
great southern MEAD & HONEY
was originally created when a swarm of BEES found there way into our possum box bringing the possum back into the roof
the new bee hive was placed on top of my pottery studio and work shop .... thus a new business was created to house the quickly growing beehives...
moving to the south coast in 2000 allowed the business to grow even further by finding new custodians of our beehives
4 hives has quickly beecome 40
we dont heat our honey keeping it RAW honey
giving you all its medicinal goodness....
MEAD is our focus
creating a BOUTIQUE 18 month old METHAGLEN is what were striving towards....
currently selling through our local markets and festivals
